Cliptonomy is a Clipboard extension that will allow users to save Clipboard content for future use. The application will attempt to save all available formats on the Clipboard. However, as some formats may be subject to delayed rendering and not actually put data on Clipboard, not all formats content will necessarily be saved.

Programs such as Word use multiple Clipboard formats and copying them all to the Clipboard whenever copy or cut options are selected would be a waste as it's unlikely that all of them would be used at once.

Windows provides an intelligent alternative to simply copying all the data to Clipboard. An application can register a Clipboard format without actually passing any data. Later, if the data in an empty format is required for pasting, the original application will be requested to render the data. If, in the meantime the application is closed, it will be requested to render all formats before closing.

Delayed rendering is a normal function meant to avoid huge masses of data being put onto clipboard and normally involves private formats. While a particular format may be shown in the list after restoring, it may not have content but there will be an alternative format available for pasting.

Cliptonomy is a single exe file application and does not require installing. Extract the files to a folder of choice and I suggest create a shortcut on your desktop. The application will create a sub-folder titled 'Files' where all clipboard files will be saved.

Cliptonomy is fully portable and can be run from a flash drive.
Saved Clipboard files can carried/sent and restored to any Clipboard using a Cliptonomy application. It should be noted that some formats may not be moveable. When copying a file, for example, the data is not rendered and pasting will fail unless the original file is available.
As Clipboard files with images can be very large, there is an option to compress a file, an advantage if a file is to be emailed. However, compressed files will take longer to restore as they must first be decompressed.

Using Cliptonomy
On change of Clipboard content, the list of formats on Clipboard and Clipboard content in the default format, if possible, will be shown, in a similar way to the Clipboard Viewer.
If you want to keep the content, click on Save to open the dialog and save under a descriptive title. Files are saved with the extension '*.c1p' in a sub-folder of the main exe file folder. Clipboard files can be compressed after saving using the pop-up menu. Compressed files have the extension '*.c1c'.
Once saved, selecting the file in the Saved Clipboard Files list and double-clicking will restore that content to the clipboard. To delete a clipboard file, select and use the DEL Key or the Delete file item in the pop-up menu.
9 Quick Files buttons are available, provided primarily as a short term option. The current clipboard content is saved to a fixed name file by clicking on a button with the CTRL key down. If a file exists under that name when saving, the existing file will be replaced. To delete an individual file, click on the button with the SHIFT key down. To restore click a button. Allocated buttons show '****' as the title. To clear all Quick Files press the 'Clear QF' button. Quick Files are saved with a '*.c1t' extension and do not show in the Saved Files List.

If Popup is checked, Cliptonomy will show when content changes if it is minimized to the tray.
Double-clicking the tray icon will Show/Hide the program.

Cliptonomy это один файл .ехе и не требует установки. Извлеките файл в папку по выбору и для удобства создайте ярлык на рабочем столе или в быстром запуске. Программа создаст подпапку под названием "Files", где все файлы буфера (сжатые и несжатые) будут сохраняться до удаления пользователем.

Cliptonomy полностью портативная и можетт быть запущена с флэш-диска.

Тестирование (и инструкция).
С текстом все понятно, решил сразу посмотреть возможности по размеру сохраняемых файлов. Скопировал в файл фото 3264*2448 весом 23.970.871 байт. Программа спрашивает с каким именем сохранить. Сохраняла секунд тридцать. Взял фото 720*428, весом 209.335 - сохранение мгновенное. Программа сохраняет файлы с расширением .c1p.
Пробую сжатие. Первый файл сжат до 13.433.894, второй до 83.331 байт. Сжатые файлы имеют расширение .c1c
Удаляю из окна программы (правая кнопка мышки - контекстное меню) оба несжатых файла. Затем опять через меню - провожу декомпрессию сжатых файлов. Оба файла просматриваются.
После сохранения, выбор файлов из списка сохраненных файлов и буфера обмена двойным щелчком мыши вернет это содержимое окно просмотра. Для удаления файла из буфер обмена, выбор: использования DEL или пункт Dtlite в контекстном меню.
9 кнопок быстрого доступа предназначкны в первую очередь как краткосрочное опративное сохранение. Текущее содержимое буфера сохраняется с фиксированными именами файлов. В эти 9 ячеек сохранение происходит при нажатой клавише CTRL мышкой на кнопку. Выделенная кнопка покажет "****" в качестве заголовка.
Если там файл уже существует, существующий файл будет заменен. Чтобы удалить отдельный файл, нажмите на кнопку с клавишей SHIFT. Для вставки файла из под кнопки - нажмите на кнопку. Чтобы удалить все файлы быстрых кнопок нажмите кнопку "Clear QF". Быстрый Файлы сохраняются с расширением .c1t и не показываются в списке сохраненных файлов. При нажатии на кнопку - сохраненный файл будет виден в окне просмотра.
Если рограмма свернута в трей, Cliptonomy покажет, об изменениях в содержании подсвечиванием иконки, при включенной опции "Popup hidden" опять же в контекстном меню. Там же присутствует опция "Hide" - скрыть.
Двойной щелчок по иконке в трее будет Показать / Скрыть программу.
